Percentage Departure from Normal Precipitation

Onset of Monsoon rains has been started over the country around mid –June 2008. The rains during this year are likely to be normal, whereas in eastern parts specially Northern parts of Punjab, adjoining hilly areas of Kashmir and Sindh may be above normal.
